PENFED CC OFFER

Pentagon Federal Credit Union is currently offering a CC reward of $100 statement credit after you spend $1500 in 3 months. I believe you may have to a be a member of the credit union before you apply so please check that out first. I have applied and was approved and will use it to pay my tuition to met the requirement.

I think I will be skipping that one since we just started working on the Citi Thank You card offering $200 cash equivalents after $1500.

Thank you for sharing this. Personally I won't be taking advantage of this offer (charging $1500 in 3 months would only work for us if we had a big purchase coming up but we don't, and we already get a higher cash back reward on our biggest spending category which is groceries), but it sounds like a great plan to use for your tuition payment.

We opened a Pen Fed account in January when they were offering 3.04% APY for 5-year CDs. Pen Fed's customer service is very good.
