As I posted before, this year I took a class in order to become a part-time tax preparer. Well one of the things that I learned was that I should have been taking depreciation expense on my rental property.I previously submitted an amendment for my 2010 tax return to claim depreciation.Once that was successfully processed, I submitted for 2011 and 2012 and I received both checks today!!! One was for $1,300 and the other for $700 so with those two checks I just reached my revised 2014 Snowflake goal of $10,000....right now my snowflake total is $10,308! Happy Dance Happy Dance!!!!
