   @FreebieQueen, that's exactly what I planned to do. I had another offer from JcPenny and I bought gift cards and got the statement credit. I sure hope it works!!

   Oh no! I literally spent about $300 on Amazon today on Xmas gifts, but I used my Amazon Visa to get the 5% rewards. Well, we have a bit more to do, so I'll see if it's still around.

   Yes it does! We scored a Cyber Monday deal on a printer we've been needing for a while and used the credit. I wasn't even aware of that special offers tab in my Amex account -- I'm going to be checking it frequently from now on!
