Passive Income Update

USAA is a bank that used to be open only to those in the military until recently. Every year, if they make money, they give a portion of it back to their members. Well, I just checked my account and my portion is $60.87! I'm soooo excited

Old balance: $78.66

New money: $60.87

New balance: $139.53

It's hard to believe that it hasn't even been a month since I've jumped on the passive income challenge bandwagon and I'm already up to almost $140. Thanks again to Campfrugal for this great idea

    Heard a radio commercial for them last night. They were advertising that veterans can open accounts.

    USAA is worth joining. We have them for insurance and for banking, and will probably do our next home loan through them, as well. They are excellent! We are living overseas and are going to change all of our banking to them because they will not hold us up with ATM fees, even at foreign ATMs. All in all, they have a ton of positive selling points!

    As a follow up... we DID change our Bank of America banking over to USAA, as well as the insurance we carry through them, and they are fantastic. We get ten ATM withdrawals per month for no extra fees, and it leads us to be very grateful for this company. They are worth looking into.
