Day 2: Green Smoothie Challenge

Another refreshing drink to start the day off.

1 c water
2 c romaine lettuce
1 TBS flax seed
1 banana
1 c blueberries

The berries made it purple in color instead of green; this is a little trick I read about to trick the kids into drinking smoothies with veggies. You should join creditcardfree and I on our monthly green smoothie challenge!

    I skipped the flax today, but wish I had put it in. It makes it a bit more filling. My daughter told me this morning she definitely doesn't like the green color!! She wouldn't try it. Smile
