It's good until 6 am PST..Happy New Year Swaggers!
Archive for December, 2011
Last year I was able to save $397 by saving all of my $1 bills. I'm going to do the same thing this year and see if I can beat 2011 total. Anyone can to join in?
I have $8 already
Eventhough we all may pay some if not most of our bills automatically, we should still look at the bill itself. By looking at my cable bill this month I noticed they charged me $40 for a service call I had a couple of weeks ago. I called them immediately and told them I was told there wouldn't be a fee. Luckily the guy reversed the charge.
So lesson learned for the day: look at each bill monthly regardless of how the bill is paid.
In December 2010, I read on another blog about an idea of saving all your dollar bills so I decided to try it for the year. Well as of when I make my deposit tomorrow my total for Dec 2010-Dec 2011 is $397! That's not bad if I do say so myself. That just goes to prove that small amounts do add up over time so stay encouraged everyone!
I will definitely be doing this for 2012 as well.
Just purchased One Year of Full Oil Change Service for $45. The deal includes oil change, tire rotation, top off low fluids, 28 point inspections, and brake inspections. I will have to make sure I take car in every 3,000 miles for sure!
As we all start our celebrations, please remember the reason for the season. Remember all service men and women that are away protecting us while they are away from their families. We must not forget, freedom is not free!!
Got a $25 Target GC for doing a VA(veteran affairs) survey. New total is $160!
I've only been doing swagbucks for a couple months now and today on one single search I got 39 swagbucks! I hope the rest of the day is as fruitful.
For all my swaggers out there, what's your highest single search?
Snagged a $25 giftcard from swagbucks. New total $135
Received my $20 check from serve.com. New total $110!!
Got another $10 target giftcard bringing total to $70.
I bought a Nintendo DS today at Target and received a $50 gift card. I also used a Target coupon and got a $10 gift for spending $50 on that same purchase. I will save those 2 gift cards to use towards 2012 Christmas Challenge.
It's never too early to start!
I belong to Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover site and a few of us have joined this challenge for next year. Basically, we are going to try and get/earn free gifts and money by other various creative ways. We are all trying to see how this challenge will dramatically reduce our Christmas expenses next year.
I'm going to achieve mine by doing the below:
I already have 4 $5 AGC from Swagbucks!
