2 Spend or 2 Save

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I must say that while most of the hype of the day is trying to get people to spend; ING is trying to get people to save. I know a couple of you have already written about this but I just thought this definitely put a spin on the traditional day called "Black Friday". So how will you be spending your day? As for me I just opened a electric orange account to get my free $121 in 50 days.

    I went out and did my grocery shopping today. I expected there to be long lines and crazy people at the stores, but it was actually not like that. The checkout line was a little longer, but not bad at all. I saved $1.25 at Dollar General with coupons and about $6.00 at the grocery store with stuff that was on sale. I set aside $20.00 more dollars for my dh to take a CPR trainer's course.

    I was in school today (overseas - not a holiday!) and tried not to let Black Friday lead me to spend at all. I do have the insurance of having done much of my shopping in advance, though! Thank goodness...
